2nd Annual Lake Tahoe Home and Garden Show

 

The second annual Lake Tahoe Home and Garden Show will be held Friday, April 26th, and Saturday, April 27, 2013. The event will be at the Recreation Complex Gymnasium on Rufus Allen Blvd. It will feature live music, food, door prizes, drawing prizes, and free admission. Friday’s event will be open to the public from 4pm to 8pm, and will be open Saturday from 10am until 6pm. Vendors for all types of services and goods that relate to anything for the home, garden, maintenance, protection, decorating, auto, health, fitness, and recreation will be available. The Master Gardeners will answer questions, and the South Lake Tahoe Fire Department will provide a public service by allowing hands on practice on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. Lake Valley Fire will present on Defensible Space around your home. Second Chances will be offering short classes on how to re-purpose just about anything for your home, garden, or auto.

Real Estate Market Update – South Lake Tahoe, CA – January 2013

Here is the Monthly Real Estate Market Update for the Month of January, year of 2013 for the area of South Lake Tahoe, California. As of January 31st we had a total of 209 Residential Properties in the Market, including single family and condos, with an average price of $547,726.

In that same group (Residential Properties including single family and condos), we had a total of 41 new listings entering the market in the month of January. The average price for new listings this month was $433,555, with an average price per square feet of $249.

From 209 listings, 70 listings were pending escrow and 41 of them went into escrow in the month of January, 6 of them being a Short Sale. The average price for the 28 homes that went into escrow this month was $354,295, with an average price per square feet of $209 and they were an average of 123 days on the market.

In January, 44 Homes were SOLD. The average sales price for the homes that were sold this month was $324,531 with an average price per square feet of $198 and an average of 153 days on the market.
